Paths are undulating and sometimes muddy. Progress on terrain and trails may occasionally be a bit difficult - not recommended for the really fainthearted, but not an insurmountable challenge for the intrepid or adventurous!
What to bring
You’re visiting an area off the beaten track, so remember to bring:
Walking boots or study trainers
Sun hat and sunblock
Small backpack
Water (1 litre). There will be an opportunity to buy water en route
Insect repellent (there are no malarial mosquitoes)
Camera and plenty of film!
Swimwear and towel
Change of outer clothes. Waterproofs are not necessary but you may get muddy
Binoculars
Emulate the Yumbo and bring walking poles if you have them
